The SFP Board announces the departure of SFP Director Lilia Olefir at the end of October 2025 to pursue a new personal and professional path.

Over the past three years, Lilia has led the SFP team and Coalition partners’ policy campaigns, advocating for the release of proposals to revise the EU Tobacco Tax Directive, the Tobacco Products and Advertising Directives, as well as the adoption of the Council Recommendation on Smoke- and Aerosol-Free Environments (2024) to strengthen implementation of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control.
