Paul Dendale
Prof dr Paul Dendale is a cardiologist specialized in Preventive Cardiology. He was chair of the department of cardiology in Jessa Hospital, a large tertiary hospital in Hasselt Belgium up to April 2026. Clinically he is mainly involved in cardiovascular rehabilitation and prevention, as former director of the Rehabilitation and Health Centre (ReGo). He is a Honorary President of the European Association of Preventive Cardiology and a member of the Advocacy Committee of the European Society of Cardiology, and ESC representative in the European Chronic Disease Alliance. His research centres around the use of digital tools to improve on Preventive Cardiology.
