Spotlight on the FCTC, issue 8
The eighth issue of the Spotlight on the FCTC focuses on Articles 11 and 13 of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC), which covers the labelling and packaging of tobacco products.
In the context of the revision of the 2001 Tobacco Products Directive, the SFP launched a Spotlight on Articles 11 and 13 of the FCTC, calling for the adoption of mandatory pictorial warnings, in combination with plain, standardised packaging, across the EU.
