Global Voices Smokefree Status Report 2007
In May 2007 the Global Smokefree Partnership published a report which focuses on the adoption of smoke-free laws around the world.
In May 2007 the Global Smokefree Partnership published the Global Voices Report. This year, the report focused on smoke-free environments.
The Report shows the increasing trend in the adoption of smoke-free laws around the world. In particular, in Europe at least 11 countries have introduced smoke-free laws in workplaces (including bars and restaurants) in order to protect workers from the consequences of passive smoking.
